    ANY DIET THAT PROMISES “RAPID” WEIGHT LOSS IS A FRAUD!!!!!

    (well, other than chopping off a leg, arm or plastic surgery- but thats not exactly what you mean is it?)

    1- stop thinking in terms of weight loss- its FAT loss, you want to lose bodyfat, otherwise chopping off an arm or leg WOULD be a valid option. measure your body fat % which is the only method (weight bmi and body fat %) that takes into account body composition. muscle, which burns calories and speeds up your metabolism and lean mass, also take up weight- muscle does weigh less than fat- the same volume (for all you equal pound morons- a pound of muscle takes up less volume than a pound of fat)- this is why you could weigh the same, and be leaner.

    2- while the quickes way to achieve results owtih body fat loss, is plastic surgery, i don’t reccomend it. it DOES NOT address the root of the problem, nor create a lifestyle change for you to stay that way, and all surgery carries with it risks. so elective surgery is well to put it mildly an unessesary risk.

    3- slow and steady wins the race, there are NO substitutes. i woudl strongly suggest keeping a jouranl of what you eat, and substituting out the garbage foods for less garbage ones- then the less garbage ones for better ones.

    this enables you to keep track of what you take in, and maintain a caloric defacit necessary to lose bodyfat. focus on doing so with nutrient dense foods and cutting out the garbage/junk foods from your diet.

    4- focus on an excercise plan with weight training (or some similar form of resistance training) as your primary focus, with a form of cardio to fill in the gaps.

    many people mistake the “caloric defacit” as some kind of bank account- “the more the merrier” thats wrong beyond a certain point- beyond a certain point your body slows down the metabolism as an evolutionary responce to what it percieves as “famine/drought” periods for survival.

    you dont’ want that- you want a slight defacit suffficient enough to generate maybe at most a 2 pounds of fat loss per week.

    weight training helps recomposition your body if you aren’t used to working out, and why at first you might put on lean muscle mass and tone to a greater degree early on. also why you won’t ever become a “female bodybuilder” by normal weight training- you need to specifically train and eat for that.

    in a caloric defacit at most you’ll tone up and put on some lean muscle mass- whcih not only burns calories during the excercise, but burns afterwards during whats known as the afterburn/EPOC and muscle repair phase- also each pound of lean muscle you add can burn up to an additional 15 calories per day- it adds up.

    cardio is strictly to generate a greater caloric defacit (well from a fat loss prespective- it provides other fitness and health benefits we aren’t discussing here), but too much and you will lose muscle mass- slowing your metabolism (something you don’t want)- which is why many road warriors are still pudg and don’t know why (not that it can’t happen to “iron lovers” who don’t address the matter properly too).

    you should probably focus on circuit training or (at least) supersets when you do this.

    well if you are almost in HS then your around 12 years old. At 12 you can easily burn off the fat.
    this is a good plan for you.
    1. get out and walk every day. If you live in a safe area get your mom or dad to drive you 1 mile away from home. Get out of the car and walk home,(time your self to see your progress) every 3 or 4 days add 3 to 4 10th of a mile to your walk. When there is no side walk always walk against traffic for safety reasons. Drink plenty of water before you go. Have a friend or one of your parents join you. get 1/2 lb weights to carry. set a goal as to how many miles you want to work up to, around 3 miles would be a good goal. (i did this and got up to10 miles in 6 months) Learn how to properly stretch after every walk and get a good pair of walking shoes.

    2. cut out ALL junk food, anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup should be taken out of your diet. this stuff turns to instant fat and keeps you feeling hungry. Check ALL ingredients before consuming.
    Eat all the fresh veggies and fruit that you want. Don’t eat after 7pm. Drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day.

    3.Limit your TV time to half of what your doing now. learn some simple stretches and do them while you watch tv. Go to you You tube and search stretching.

    At your age you really don’t need or want to diet, you just need to be more active and chose better food to eat.
