    When packing a lunch I always try to include an apple and some carrots. Since they are high in fiber, you feel more full after eating them. Also when I pack a lunch, instead of putting in the traditional chips, I like to put in flavored rice chips. They have way less calories. I buy mine at Aldi. I also pack a ham sandwich but use whole wheat bread and mustard instead of mayo since it has virtually no calories.
    Some rules that I follow in general are always choose mustard over mayo, always choose water over other drinks, and when eating out eat half and take the rest home (restaurants make portions way too big)
